I had always assumed in the instance of ” chase” that the vehicle in question was being chased.

But now that i consider the implications of “bunny chase” going from bunny-as-victim to bunny-as-aggressor… I’m liking this new interpretation.

Agreed. I wonder, when you say ‘car chase’ or ‘motorcycle chase’ is the subject the chaser or the chasee? Cause I guess I could still call it a car chase since the car is the one chasing. Could be chasing a bunny rabbit and it would still be a car chase…though a very disturbing one.
