Hey everyone, getting close to finishing all the art for Shiver Bureau’s story arc ‘Welcome to London’. So I started thinking about getting a book printed. I really want to make a high quality, hard cover book. The total story will be 140+ pages with another 20something pages of extra content, full ink only pages, concept art, maybe some teaser stuff from the second story arc which will take place in New Orleans.
But it will cost around 12,000 bucks to get this book printed, which I can’t foot myself. So Kickstarter would be involved. But I want to gauge interest in a printed book. If you look at the top right of this webpage you will see a poll. If you would please answer honestly that would be a great help.
Thanks!
Just so you know, we in the U.S. imagine you in Britain are like this _100%_ of the time.
Thanks!
🙂 I’m in the US also, but I agree, that’s all they do over in Britain. Drink tea.
I’m in Jolly Ole England and I’m drinking tea while reading your fine Colonial picture strip.
Pip, pip, toodles.
Definately interested in the Book idea!
Thanks Paul. I am really looking forward to making an awesome, high quality book. Just have to see how many I need to print.
I would be all about getting a book. I’d put it on my bookshelf & everything.

I like the large sailors tattoos, we’ve got chains on one wrist, an octopus on the other, and something I can’t quite determine above our friendly cephalopod.
You should get a few more good looks at his tattoos in the pages coming up.
tattoos are really tricky. I’ve always wanted a tattoo for myself, but have no idea what I would ever get. I’d love to have two full sleeves, but there is no way I could think of enough stuff I’d like to look at for the rest of my life.
I’d love to see a book! I was also thinking it’d be cool to see a deck of playing cards as well.
Thanks Mugu. Yeah, a deck of cards would be really fun to do…but let’s see how the book goes first 🙂
Only just discovered this comic but I am a huge fan of the art and can’t wait to see where the story line goes.
Keep it up 🙂
Thanks for checking it out!
